I have a question: How do we define Polyamory?
I know about couples who introduce another partner into the home and live as such but I am not in such a relationship.
I do have a wife with whom I share my home but I also have a mistress with my wife's knowledge and several other lovers who I see when circumstances allow. Does this make us polyamorous? As my wife and partners all know about and accept my lifestyle, are they more than mistresses? All my partners have been long term with one exception.
At present I am in a physical relationship with three women all of whom have their own homes. I am talking to and arranging a first date with another two and have had liaisons with another in the last six months who I have known online for several years.
It is the long term nature of the relationships that makes me question the definition.
Any clues?
