After testing and reviewing the Original Lady Fleshlight that my Sweetie bought me for my birthday, I became intrigued by another model called the Fleshlight Stamina Training Unit.

The Fleshlight Stamina Training Unit (STU) is a special version of the Fleshlight designed to help men train themselves to last longer before orgasm. It consists of a sleeve with a special internal texture, in a special gold case. (Unlike all the other Fleshlight sleeves and cases, these cannot be purchased separately.) Upon buying the Fleshlight STU, you are given a link to a website that contains training tips.

If you look at the inside of the Fleshlight STU sleeve, you can see that instead of being smooth, like the Original Fleshlight, it is lined with shallow bumps, about 3/8 or 10mm diameter. Unlike some of the optional Fleshlight sleeve textures that are designed for intense stimulation, this one doesn't feel much different in use than the Original Fleshlight. It doesn't feel quite as smooth, but you can't really feel the bumps.

It becomes more interesting as you approach orgasm. At that point, your penis starts to swell a bit more, and get a little more sensitive, and suddenly the bumps feel very intense. According to the Fleshlight website, this is the point of using this sleeve for training. By getting a warning when you are close to orgasm, you know when you need to slow down, or even stop for a moment. You do need to pay attention to the warning; if you try to get too close to the edge, the extra stimulation can push you over into orgasm before you know it.

If you take things to the point of orgasm, the stimulation gets very intense. Looking at the Fleshlight Forums, a lot of guys say they have to stop stroking when they start to orgasm, because the stimulation is just too much. I pretty much fall into this category, too. On the other hand, this could be fun if you are into male forced orgasm play. Have your partner tie you to the bed, bring you to orgasm with the Fleshlight, and continue stroking afterwards. I haven't tried this game yet, but I expect it would be mind-blowing.

For day to day pleasure use, I would recommend getting one of the Original Fleshlights, instead of the STU. It feels a little smoother, and you can continue stroking as you reach orgasm. If you want to train for longer stamina, or if you like intense post-orgasmic stimulation, get a Fleshlight STU, ideally as a second Fleshlight. If you can only buy one Fleshlight, you could use the Fleshlight STU for both functions, but you may have to hold still when you reach orgasm.
